KG Westman is an internationally acclaimed sitar and surbahar virtuoso, recognized as one of Europe’s leading ambassadors of Indian classical music. A senior disciple of Pandit Rabindra Narayan Goswami, Westman’s musical journey began in 1996 when his father’s relocation to Kerala sparked his passion for Indian music. Since then, he has performed across India, Europe, the USA, and beyond, and is celebrated for his soulful renditions and innovative collaborations. He is also the founder of the Stockholm Sangeet Festival, Scandinavia’s premier platform for Indian classical arts.

Accompanying him is Guru Mihir Kundu, a tabla maestro trained under the guidance of Pt. Sankha Chatterjee. Guru Mihir’s expertise spans the Farukhabad, Punjab, and Delhi Gharanas, and his performances resonate with the rich traditions of Indian percussion. A regular on All India Radio and Doordarshan, he is also a revered tabla tutor at SIFAS
